i'm back in texas
sanfransisco was nice, too many tourists, and i never need to go to fishermans warf ever again.
it was good hanging out with the freij's and the andrea
kind of tired still
i got a pedicure and bought a dirty book from city lights
so even though i missed all those other attractions i feel accomplished

update:
in austin, working 2 jobs.
drinking too much soda and watching too much tv
but...
i plan to stop watching tv aside from a few select shows and i plan to kick soda (again) soon.
that's all really, gus and i went to a bar for "chicken shit sunday" a honky tonk band was playing and they were pretty good.
oh and some people are coming in town for south by southwest so i should have a house of people and hopefully some shows i can go to. |

so, it's been nearly a month since we moved here,for those who don't know,this great town of austin tx.
even though were jobless and broke i still really like this town.
and so far it's been good to us,well i technically have a job (one day it will start), our apartment isn't what i was looking for but given the short amount of time we had to look in it worked out really well, and i can drive ( a feat that was challenging in it's self, i was a dumb girl when i was 21).
and on top of all that jen and mike let us hang out with them from time to time, which is good, my social skills were getting rusty, though they have never been all that great.
also, gus and i aren't completely sick of each other yet, geez what other couple could spend a month straight together and still have a good time.
i've finally let gus help me record some stuff , and it has made things so much easier. heh all that fancy school learnin was put to good use after all.
this city is great i can't wait till i get some money rollin in so i can enjoy it even more. |

and then we will be homeless ramblers for a time.
i'm very antsy about this whole thing
but a good antsy, mostly i just want to get going, but i have to wait another 24 hours
back to the packing/cleaning part of my day

stupid myspace, i've been forgetting about livejournal because i'm too busy posting blogs on myspace, don't worry they are mostly surveys nothing special.
we move on sunday, i'm excided and very antsy about the whole thing, i just wanna get going, i don't want to go to work for the 2 days i work this week , i could even skip the shows i was planning on going to but the truck is reserved fpr sunday and that is when we will leave, and maybe some miracle will happen and we will get an apartment befor ewe get there, yeah right.
so yes i'm going back to texas, i might have compleatly lost my mind.

so again with this posting, my internet connection sucks!
ok i saw deepa mehtas new film , water, last night, it was good with the beautiful photography and good story. i recommend it if you want to get your heart ripped out and stepped on.
what i learned from it it really sucks being a widow in india in the 30's or even now maybe i haven't done the research.
ghandi is a good guy( duh)
and tumeric can help with razor burn or over heated head but i think it was razor burn.
anyway it made me weepy , the movie not the tumeric |

home again home again, that was a quick meticulous trip to the midwest.
i did ans saw nearly everything/one i wanted to and those we missed i'm sorry, we'll do better next time.
i has a grand ol time with andrea with the shopping and drinking and all. and the chicagoans i saw were good to see.
my god i did a lot of shopping, had to catch up i guess knoxville is not known for shopping as you may know.
detroit was also good, in the detroit sort of way, hanging with the freijs and a wedding and bikes. the wedding made me teary a couple of times very mushy people.
i drank lots of wine and ate meat balls (eww i know gross beef is bad, but tasty)oh i even met new people buddies of gus from way back and i totally kicked their asses in greedy :).
so many details if you want em let me know.
oh i have no idea what the subject line means if any one speaks portugues let me knowwhat it means.
oh yes and i still love andrea
and i still love drunk andrea

oh these sleepless night will break my heart in two

i think cable is making me worse, more lazyness if thats possible.
i just whatched two baby birthing shows, they made me all teary, just imagine if i were to ever actually have babies myself.
anyway i watch way too much tv and i need to change that.
were actually talking moving again, and the two possibilities are berkely and austin, both have their ups and downs, and need much more discussion. so no one get their hopes up yet.
oh the horizon i'm looking forward to our trip in a couple of weeks, i'm totally going to feel rushed but i need a break from this town with it's monatany

i think i may be a bad person
i was walking hokme from wendys and heard a crunch, and looked up and two cars that had hit each other.
and i walked away, they were right next to me and i walekd away.
mostly though i was startled from the loud noise and the kid who hopped out of one of the cars and started kicking and hitting the car.
whats my problem when did i become such a cowardly jerk person.
i should have at least asked if they were ok , i mean every one was moving around and it was just some crunched front ends but i still feel like a jerk |

spring is finally here, apparently for parts of tenn that mead horrendous tornados . fortunatly not for knoxville though we did get some scary ass hail/thunderstorms.
i've brought the sewing maching out and plan to make may fasionable garments, so far i helped gus with the belt he's currently wearing and a skirt that might end up with andrea unless i lose like 4 inches around the belly area.
i have plans for a dress with a mexican nightscape fabric.
gus and i recorded a song together it's a lovely ukelale tune called you belong to me and it's disgustingly adorable.
in other news , andrea will soon become a professional intelactual again bit is she smart enought to convince rachell and gus to move to california at the same time?? |

so miss japandrea tagged me so i guess i must do this because i have to do every thing andrea tell me.

1. i like popping pimple,i know i know its disgusting, i'm sorry
2. i like peeling things also, wallpaper, paint, tape, glue, labels, if it can be peeled i'll do it in a sneakey manner
3.the morning show i think it's on nbc, the one with al roker, i swear i just can't stop watching it, it's the combo of weather and not having to think hard about anything in the morning, besides how else will i learn what colours are in this season or the hottest thing in the world of pet obsession.
4.this is harder than i thought... other guilty pleasures... oh that celebrity dancing competiton, i rarely get to whatchit but when i do you can't tear me away, it's slightly creepy.
5. sonic tater tots, and dr pepper. after a while i realize it's a disgusting habit, but i always go back(becasue all i have to do is cross the street
